Buster's Bubble
Another one of my favorite things about what I do is sharing it with my nephews! My 5 year old nephew Gabe (Buster, as I like to call him) absolutely loves to take pictures with me. Everywhere we go the first thing out of his mouth is "did you bring my camera?". When I upgraded cameras I passed my old one down to him and he is amazing with it! I love seeing things from his perspective! I spent the day with my favorite little guys this afternoon and we decided to head to the Schiele Museum in Gastonia! Here are a few of Gabe's pics of the day! *smile*

Catching up
Hello everyone! I know posts have been a little on the slow side lately but I have been oh so busy catching up on some editing and living this hectic life, lol.
I have been finalizing details for this HUGE new project I am working on (more to come on that later), booking some upcoming sessions and editing all of the pictures I have taken of just about everything for the past month.
I have come to find that all of this stuff doesn't get done on it's own...*sigh*.
On a side note...I am really looking forward to the fair this year! So many photo opportunities meet me at the fair. *smile*

{Andrew and Jayda}
I had such a wonderful time shooting Jayda's and Andrew's wedding! When she asked me, I jumped at the chance without hesitation! It was my very first time shooting a wedding as a photographer (I have previously worked with a wedding videographer) and I had been so eager to shoot one for quite some time.
The wedding was so beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. (No pun intended...no really).
Jayda and Andrew had been dating since our youth group days at church...which was a loooonnngg time ago, lol. I remember how they would just light up when the other one walked into the room.
Jayda just announced they are expecting their first little one in the Spring of 2012! Congrats to you both! *smile*

It's that time of year again!
The Cleveland County Fair is almost upon us and I couldn't be more excited! Whether you go for the food, the rides, the games, the exhibits, or all of the above (like me), right about now you begin to feel a little impatient for the fair to come into town! So I thought I would share a few pics from years gone by to get you just as excited as I am! Enjoy!

{Hope and Jadon}
These two are as precious as precious can possibly be! We focused on shooting them in their own element, outside in their own backyard! These are what make the absolute best pictures in my opinion. It's always a blast to shoot when the little ones are just playing around and having a ball!
Take a look at Hope and Jadon's session!

Upcoming projects
I am so excited to announce that I will be launching a local photography club in October! I have been planning this for a few months now and have been really eager to get this thing up and running. It is open to a small group of people for now but my goal is to invite tons and tons of people after we get into the groove of things.
It will be the place for local photographers to get to know one another, take part in new and exciting photo challenges, learn new techniques and advance themselves in their craft! Be on the lookout for more information within the coming weeks! Get ready!

{Brooke and Dustin}
Here are a few of my favorites from an engagement session I did. Brooke and Dustin are such an awesome couple! Their excitement about their engagement was infectious and I truly enjoyed taking their portraits! Brooke is quite the fashionista, she always has amazing shoes on. I have no idea how the girl does it, I just know I would make myself look like silly sally if I ever tried to walk in them! Dustin is extremely funny! Yet another session that was just a little more difficult than usual due to the amount of time I was laughing. Check out these portraits of the amazing couple!
